There are Mortgage Professionals that I have worked with in the past. They are local. They answer their phone and they are very good at explaining financing and the options available. I feel comfortable recommending any one of them.

Mehdi is a Vice President at Mason Dixon Funding. He still takes my calls and has been instrumental in providing mortgages for many of my clients. You are certainly free to test the waters, but keep in mind the lender you choose will have to be there for the loan application and they will have to show up, on time, with the money at settlement.
