The devastation that occured because of Hurricane Katrina remains today. The aid from government agencies remains tied up in red tape. People evacuated and returned to find everything gone. Homes (if they withstood the storm) were filled with muck and mud. Household possessions were carried away in the flood. Many of these people are the working poor. They make the best of what they have and continue to hope that somehow relief will arrive.

There will be no middleman, there will not be any money directed to "administrative costs". You will be amazed at how good it can feel to actually make a difference.
